About Palanga

Palanga, a resort on the Baltic Sea shore: clean air, nice and quiet environment. Regular scheduled flights from Palanga International Airport are operated by airlines SAS, AirBaltic and Norwegian Air Shuttle. Good bus connection from Vilnius (342 km.), Kaunas (240 km.), Klaipeda (26 km.), Riga (280 km).

How to reach the Conference place:

From Palanga Bus Station (Website):

  • On foot - 19 min.
  • By taxi.

How to reach Palanga Bus Station from the Airport by public transportation:

1. From Palanga International Airport (Website)

  • By bus Airport - Palanga - Klaipeda to Palanga Bus Station. Travel time - 10 min. 
  • car-sharing if you love driving: CityBee or Bolt Drive. 

2. From Kaunas Airport (Website)

  • to Kaunas Bus Station by bus of city line No. 29. City bus line route going from City Center: M.K.Čiurlionio str. (Kaunas Train Station) – Vytauto ave. (Kaunas Bus Station) – Kęstučio ave. – Vilniaus ave. – Savanorių ave. – Kaunas Airport. Travel time - about 25 min., fare 1,5-3 EUR. The timetable at: https://www.stops.lt/kaunas/ Then from Kaunas Bus Station to Palanga Bus Station by bus Kaunas - Klaipėda - Palanga. Travel time - 3:30 h, fare about 26 EUR.

3. From Vilnius International Airport (Website, Useful link)

to Vilnius Bus Station:

  • by bus of city line No. 1 going on the route Airport - Vilnius Bus Station. Travel time - about 15 min., fare 2-3 EUR (Website1, Website2). ThenfFrom Vilnius Bus Station to Palanga Bus Station by bus Vilnius - Kaunas - Klaipėda - Palanga. Travel time - 4:30 h, fare about 26 EUR.
  • by train Airport - Vilnius. Travel time - about 7 min., fare 2-3 EUR (Website)
